Agricultural Hall

Touch, Sensing and explore

The Agriculture Hall, one of the five exhibition halls at the Lions Nature Education Centre of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, has been providing a platform for holding exhibitions for students and the public to learn about local agriculture and agriculture-related knowledge.

In this project, we aimed to present the diversity and sustainability of the local agriculture in an interesting yet professional manner through the use of advanced, innovative and diversified interactive games.

touch wall interactive games

Through the touch wall interactive games such as the 4 Seasons Farm and the Hydroponics System, visitors are to learn and to understand the characteristics and growing stages of different seasonal crops, as well as the basic concept and flow of Hydroponics farming.

motion sensing

In the motion sensing game named A Farmer’s daily Life, visitors can simulate the working procedures of the farmers throughout the entire farming cycle, in order to role-play the daily life of them.

We have also applied a special trick which put player’s face onto the farmer’s head to enhance the level of participation. Educational yet fun.
